After we have obtained a fully activated crude extract, we utilize short path distillation in order to obtain the desired components of the crude extract, while further excluding undesirables. When performing short path distillation to further refine extracts, the differences in boiling points of compounds present in the crude extract are considered in order to develop a method useful for obtaining the desired components. 

In order to capture the desired compounds, heat and a vacuum are applied to the extract to initiate the distillation process. Throughout the process, fractions of the distilled output are collected and desired portions are combined. When all is said and done, a Full Spectrum Extract is obtained which contains the whole suite of desired compounds present in the original biomass.
